This policy explains when fees are refundable and how cancellations are handled when you engage MA Media (“MA Media”, “we”, “us”) for creative, production or marketing services. Media production reserves crew, equipment and calendar time and begins delivering value from day one — so our terms are firm. Every engagement is also governed by a written proposal or agreement; where that document sets out specific terms, they prevail over this general policy.
Most engagements begin with a deposit (typically 50% of the fee) to commence, with the balance due on delivery, unless your proposal states otherwise. Work — strategy, pre-production, scheduling and reserving your slot — starts as soon as the deposit is received.
The deposit secures your place in our production calendar and funds the planning and creative work that begins immediately. It is non-refundable if you later cancel, pause or reduce the scope of the project — the time and work it paid for cannot be recovered.
Once a stage of work has begun, the fees covering completed or in-progress work are non-refundable. If you cancel a project midway, you will be invoiced for the greater of: (a) all work performed and costs committed up to the date of your written cancellation, or (b) the deposit already paid.
To be clear, we do not refund fees for:
We stand behind our work. If we cancel an engagement before it begins, or we fail to deliver the agreed work, or delivered work materially fails to meet the agreed brief and we are unable to correct it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to re-performance or a proportionate refund of the amounts paid for the undelivered or non-conforming part of the work.
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you may have as a consumer under the Kingdom of Bahrain's Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 35 of 2012) where that law applies to you.
Send a written request to hello@mamedia.me (or WhatsApp +973 3990 9443) stating your project and the reason. We will acknowledge it within two business days and resolve any eligible refund within fourteen business days, to the original payment method where possible.
